Pajama Day!

Sorry it's been so long since I have updated this blog - but I'm done writing report cards now, so things should get back to normal now.

Lots of fun tomorrow - we'll be watching Holes for the whole afternoon, and of course it's Pajama Day. Please bring something, even if it's just a teddy bear, so that we can get 100% participation.

The food bank box is getting full - good job everyone. Keep getting out there to collect food. If you've raided your parents' cupboards, start talking to neighbours, relatives, and people at church to see if you can really boost our totals. Remember - the goal isn't just to beat Mrs. B's class. The goal is to help people who do not have enough to eat.

See you soon!

Election Day tonight. Who will win?

Hey everyone. You'll been paying attention to what happens tonight in the United States. What happens there is important to us in Canada because they are our closest neighbours and our biggest trading partners. The results of the election will change the whole world, especially the United States and Canada.

So who do you think will win? Polls close in California at 8:00 tonight, so tune in after 8:00 to see what's happening. We will probably have a pretty good idea of who is president some time this evening, but it might be after your bedtime. Just get the information that you can and don't worry about the rest.

Homework for Tuesday night, you have a quiz on all the countries in North America Wednesday, as well as the provinces and capital cities of Canada. Study hard - it's an easy quiz if you do the work. Also, have your spelling corrections in by Wednesday, and your Holes 16-22 packages.
